A Morning Walk Around Georgetown
I met this lovely couple and their parents early in the morning in downtown Georgetown, Texas — a gorgeous little town to photograph in. Georgetown has such a picturesque charm, with its old stone buildings, tree-lined streets, and the friendliest people you’ll ever meet. The town square is full of character — coffee shops just opening their doors, breakfast spots buzzing with the smell of pancakes and espresso, and storefronts that look like they were made for a photograph.
We walked a loop around the square, stopping in those quiet little corners where the light hits just right. I loved how relaxed and connected everyone was — just enjoying the morning together. Including parents in the session made it even more special. There’s something so meaningful about capturing multiple generations together, especially in a setting that feels like a small-town postcard come to life.
I always love photographing in Georgetown — the warm stone, soft morning light, and bits of greenery tucked between buildings make it feel like a hidden gem every time.
I still have a few spots open on my calendar for this fall, and I’d love to photograph more families and couples in beautiful downtown Georgetown. If you’re interested in a similar session, let me know — Georgetown looks just as lovely at sunset as it does in the morning. The link to book your spot is below. I can’t wait to capture your family, too.
