A Chilly Bluebonnet Mini Session
When Austin found itself in the path of a rare solar eclipse, thousands of visitors flocked to Austin to witness it, turning the city into a bustling hub of excitement and anticipation. The city welcomed visitors from all corners, eager to witness the celestial event. Among them were Spring and Roy, traveling from the Pacific Northwest, unfazed by the chilly winds of this early Texas morning.
Their bluebonnet mini session was so relaxing and full of laughter. The park was deserted, we had the entire place to ourselves. We walked the lake path and found some quiet forest outcoves as well. Pink evening primrose flowers have exploded at Brushy Creek Lake park. Delicate pink flowers complemented the blue of the bluebonnets beautifully, creating stunning displays across the fields.
Capturing their connection through my lens was such a joy. I hope they enjoyed their morning among the wildflowers of Texas. If you missed the Bluebonnets this year, check back in February for Spring 2025 Bluebonnet Sessions.
