Another Gorgeous Fall Mini at Brushy Creek

Brushy Creek Lake Park in Cedar Park is by far my most requested location for fall mini sessions, and it’s easy to see why. The light, the open fields, the trails—there’s just something magical here in the evenings. This gorgeous family showed up early (my favorite!) and completely ready to go. Despite a morning full of rain, mother nature surprised us with the prettiest golden sunshine.

As a mom of three myself, I absolutely love photographing kids—especially ones full of energy and curiosity like these three. We wandered through a few of my favorite spots around the park, kept things moving, and captured the sweetest mix of candid moments and classic portraits. Their youngest brought the most adorable little spark of sass to every frame, and I couldn’t get enough of it.

I loved the light in this album, I loved their connection, and I loved how easygoing these parents were. Families who can go with the flow always end up with the most heartfelt images.
