Late-Fall Mini Session at Brushy Creek
An overcast evening at Brushy Creek wasn’t enough to slow us down this week. The forecast kept teasing rain, and we debated rescheduling more than once, but every single one of my families decided to roll with it—and I’m so glad they did. This sweet crew showed up completely ready, they admitted that their two-year-old twins “run the show” and they were happy with whatever moments we could capture together.
Their little girl was a tiny adventurer from the moment she hopped out of the car—I can only imagine how often she keeps Mom and Dad on their toes. Their little boy balanced her out with quiet smiles and the kind of gentle charm that makes photographing toddlers an absolute joy. And despite the thick clouds, we still ended up with some beautiful fall images tucked between the golden grasses and stone paths of the park.
I’ll be at Brushy Creek most of this week photographing more families and am so grateful for everyone’s flexibility as we navigate the shifting weather. Truly, what a lovely way to spend Thanksgiving week—much better than traveling myself.
If you’d like to schedule your own family photos, I’d love to see you out at Brushy Creek or any of my other fall locations. Click below to contact me or book a session online—can’t wait to create something beautiful with you.
