Sunset at Lakeline Park - Fall Family Mini Session
I first discovered this little stretch of Lakeline Park while walking my dog one afternoon. The path, the trees, and that kayak ramp leading down to the water immediately felt like the perfect setting for a family session. So when Brittany—a returning client—told me her family was game to try a new spot, I knew exactly where to take them.
When I pulled up, I could already spot them walking down toward the kayak ramp. You can always tell which group is the family you’re meeting for photos; they’re usually the ones in coordinating outfits. Brittany and her husband are so sweet and gentle with their kids. As we walked and chatted, I snapped photos along the short path, keeping everyone moving so the little ones stayed happy and tantrums stayed at bay. These kids were so chill; the only roadblock we encountered was letting go of the lamb stuffy. The lamb stayed obviously.
The kids found treasures, explored some side trails, threw rocks, and we all ended up laughing in the sunset. Even in late fall, Texas was still so green it caught me off guard. If you’re looking for a relaxed outdoor spot for your own family session, consider Lakeline Park, in Cedar Park Texas for your family photo session or mini session.
My mini sessions are fully booked, but it never hurts to reach out. I try to accommodate as many families as I can up until mid-December. Click below to contact me, or click Book Online to see if there’s an opening. If nothing shows up, use the contact tab and send me a note—we’ll try to make something work. Thank you again to this beautiful family for trusting me to capture their memories. It was such a joy to see you all again.
